About Faithful Shepherd Council
Faithful Shepherd Council serves the tri-parish community of St. John Neumann, St. Peters, and St. Thomas Beckett. Founded in 1980 through the efforts of brother Knight Dick Joos and other Knights, Council 7604 has been blessed with many kind and generous men to help serve as a role model to our community. Our current membership includes nearly 300 Knights. As always, we are actively seeking new members who feel the need to serve others in the Church and community with their energy, passion, and faith.
The Faithful Shepherd Council has been instrumental in the creation and support of Faithful Shepherd Catholic School. To date the council has donated nearly $600,000 to the school and more than $1,000,000 to various charities in the Eagan area!
We live the old adage of ‘work hard, play hard’. We never cease in our fund-raising efforts (spaghetti dinners, pancake breakfasts, Tootsie Roll drives, fish fry, etc) to benefit various church and secular charities. We serve the community actively by volunteering our time with such events as the Special Olympics, Septemberfest, blood drives, and many others. We help raise awareness for worthy causes by organizing events such as Keep Christ in Christmas. We support and affirm one another at all times in both action and in prayer. And we come together for fun, games, and food together with our families in the annual Faithful Shepherd Council Picnic.
